Val Zane, Executive Director at the WPAC and cast members join KCSI to visit about  Night of the Living Dead on Stage at the Wilson Performing Arts Center

      • Wilson Performing Arts Center, Red Oak, Iowa
      • Dates: October 17–19 (one weekend only)
      • Tickets: $20, available at wilsonartscenter.org or by calling 712-623-3183
      • Audience: Recommended for ages 16+ (due to gore, strobe lights, loud noises, and violence)
Creative Direction
      • Director: Tracy Rose
      • Staging Style: Black-and-white aesthetic for most of the cast, with zombies in color — a visual homage to original film.
      • Choreography: Fight scenes designed with wrestling expertise (Zach Spencer).
      • Zombie Design: Each zombie has a unique backstory, makeup, and costume tailored by the creative team.

Other Wilson Events
    • Family-Friendly Halloween Party: Oct 25 (10:30 AM–Noon) — crafts, cookies, activities ($15 adults / $10 kids).
    • Family Karaoke Night: Oct 25 (5–8 PM) — $10 adults / $5 kids.
    • Auditions:
      • Dear Jack, Dear Louise — Oct 26–27
      • Gooney Bird Green (children’s theater) — Nov 3
    • Wreath Raffle: Nov 1 launch — fundraiser for scholarship fund.
    • Rock for Vets: Nov 11 (Veterans Day) — $30 ticket; Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame musicians, proceeds for local veteran support.
    • Stanton School’s Sound of Music: Nov 13–14 (at the Wilson).
