Red Oak CSD Superintendent Ron Lorenz Talks Enrollment, Scores & Community Growth

Red Oak Superintendent Ron Lorenz joined KCSI for the Monday ROCSD update to discuss Red Oak’s strong preliminary enrollment numbers, the launch of the Iowa Virtual School, and ongoing efforts to support all students — especially those starting “behind the eight-ball.”

He also shared details on an upcoming Community Roundtable (Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m.) to address declining enrollment and population loss across Red Oak and Montgomery County. The event will be livestreamed on KCSI for public access.

Lorenz also confirmed Red Oak’s pending move to the Western Iowa Conference and addressed recent statewide education headlines.
