Red Oak Activities Director, Mark Erickson Highlights Year-End Schedule, State Qualifiers, Musical Theater Honors

Red Oak Community School District Activities Director Mark Erickson joined KCSI to recap a busy final week of school and activities.

The last day of school for students is Thursday, and it will be a full day. Erickson also highlighted Red Oak’s musical theater honors for The Sound of Music, several state track qualifiers, postseason golf, soccer and tennis updates, and the start of baseball and softball season.

The Sound of Music received Outstanding Overall Performance honors, placing it among the top 25 in the state, and Madeline Parker was selected for the Triple Threat competition.

Red Oak also has several athletes headed to state track, with competition beginning Thursday in Des Moines.
