Cass County Sheriff’s Office Reports Six Arrests
ATLANTIC, Iowa — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports six arrests between May 15 and May 21.
According to the sheriff’s office, Laurie Kay Parrott, 46, of Atlantic, was arrested on May 15 on a charge of OWI, first offense. Parrott was transported to the Cass County Jail, where she was booked and released on her own recognizance.
On May 16, deputies arrested Tate Allan Conyers, 21, of Anita, on a charge of disorderly conduct — fighting/violent behavior. Conyers was transported to the Cass County Jail, booked, and released on his own recognizance.
Also on May 16, Jason Edward Wingrove, 39, of Anita, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct — fighting/violent behavior. Wingrove was transported to the Cass County Jail, booked, and released on his own recognizance.
On May 20, deputies arrested Xavier Anaya, 20, of Griswold, on an Atlantic Police Department warrant for harassment, first degree, involving threats. Anaya was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.
Also on May 20, Brandon James May, 39, of Whitehall, Michigan, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and OWI, first offense. May was transported to the Cass County Jail, booked, and released on his own recognizance.
The sheriff’s office also reported the May 20 arrest of Blaine Arthur Carbis, 61, of Council Bluff, on a Cass County warrant for failure to appear on a possession of controlled substance charge. Carbis was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office notes that all criminal charges are merely accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
