Mills County Sheriff’s Office Reports Nine Arrests

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports nine arrests from the week of June 29 through July 5.

According to the arrest press log, 68-year-old Robert William McLean of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was arrested Monday, June 29, at 9:10 a.m. on Sharp Street in Glenwood. McLean was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Bond was set at $2,000.

On Tuesday, June 30, 47-year-old Amy Dawn Clemmons of Emerson was arrested at 8:44 p.m. on Bartlett Street in Emerson. Clemmons was charged with domestic assault causing bodily injury, first offense. Bond was set at $1,000.

Also on Tuesday, June 30, 22-year-old Leanna Dawn Clemmons of Emerson was arrested at 9:44 p.m. on Bartlett Street in Emerson. She was charged with interference with official acts. Bond was set at $300.

On Wednesday, July 1, 32-year-old Patrick Clayton Giesting of Glenwood was arrested at 1:07 p.m. on Sharp Street in Glenwood. Giesting was charged with failure to appear on a felony charge. Bond was set at $5,000.

On Saturday, July 4, 22-year-old Wyeth Alexander Platt of Iowa City, 54-year-old Joshua Fredrick Richardson of Davenport, and 42-year-old Justin Michael Richardson of Durant were arrested at 3:14 p.m. on Kidd Road in Glenwood. All three were charged with reckless use of a firearm with no injury or damage. Bond was set at $300 for each individual.

Also on Saturday, July 4, 40-year-old Brent David Schroedter of Nebraska City, Nebraska, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. on 220th Street in Glenwood. Schroedter was charged with domestic abuse assault, first offense. Bond was set at $300.

On Sunday, July 5, 38-year-old Stephanie Kathleen Gorham of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested at 4:50 a.m. near Highway 34 in Hastings. Gorham was charged with OWI, first offense, and child endangerment. Bond was set at $1,000 on the OWI charge and $2,000 on the child endangerment charge.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office noted that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
