Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports 10 arrests

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reported 10 arrests between September 1 and September 12, according to the agency’s arrest press log.

On September 1 at approximately 4:12 p.m., deputies arrested 25-year-old Dalton Alexandar Bedsole of Emerson on Harris Street in Emerson. Bedsole was charged with fifth-degree theft against an older individual. Bond was set at $1,000.

On September 2 at approximately 7:54 p.m., deputies arrested 38-year-old Daniella Jane Sharp of Hooper, NB, on Townsend Street in Glenwood. Sharp was charged with first-degree theft involving more than $10,000 and failure to appear on a felony charge. Bond was listed at $10,000 on the theft charge and $5,000 on the failure-to-appear charge.

On September 3 at approximately 5:20 a.m., deputies arrested 58-year-old Fletcher Lee Nichols of Anita near Jabber Road and U.S. Highway 34 in Malvern. Nichols was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.

On September 4 at approximately 4:50 p.m., deputies arrested 34-year-old Aaron Ray McDaniel of Pacific Junction on South 10th Street in Council Bluffs. McDaniel was charged with two probation violations. Bond was listed at $5,000 on each charge.

Later on September 4, at approximately 6:04 p.m., deputies arrested 30-year-old Noah Wayne Packett of Glenwood on Pease Road in Glenwood. Packett was charged with a drug distribution violation, gathering where controlled substances are used and child endangerment. Bond on the drug distribution charge was listed at $28,000.

On September 5 at approximately 10:51 p.m., deputies arrested 59-year-old Hugh Russell Berry of Klemme near Interstate 29 and U.S. Highway 34 in Pacific Junction. Berry was charged with driving while barred. Bond was set at $2,000.

On September 7 at approximately 12:54 a.m., deputies arrested 67-year-old Bruce Edwin Farrow of Council Bluffs on northbound Interstate 29 in Council Bluffs. Farrow was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $300.

Later on September 7, at approximately 8:46 a.m., deputies arrested 60-year-old Megan Marie Schmoll of Bellevue, Nebraska, on Industrial Road in Glenwood. Schmoll was charged with a drug distribution violation and child endangerment. Bond on the drug distribution charge was listed at $27,000.

On September 11 at approximately 11:02 p.m., deputies arrested 34-year-old Zackaria Nathaniel Peters of Merlin, Nebraska, on 195th Street in Pacific Junction. Peters was charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Bond on the controlled substance charge was listed at $5,000.

On September 12 at approximately 9:26 p.m., deputies arrested 42-year-old Anthony James Comstock of Glenwood on South Locust Street in Glenwood. Comstock was charged with third-degree theft involving more than $750 but less than $1,500. Bond was set at $2,000.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
