Red Oak Police report arrest for OWI second offense

RED OAK, Iowa — The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of a Red Oak woman on an operating while intoxicated charge.

According to the department, officers arrested 60-year-old Sherry Louann Fisher on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at approximately 6:46 p.m. in the 400 block of Senate Avenue in Red Oak.

Fisher was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Fisher was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was being held on $2,000 bond at the time the information was released.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
