U.S. Rep. Zach Nunn stopped in Red Oak during a swing through Iowa’s Third Congressional District and highlighted a mix of economic development, agriculture, and health care priorities—while also addressing a recent vote that broke with party leadership on Affordable Care Act-related subsidies
Nunn highlighted a $2.5 million investment going to Vision Atlantic for a child care and child development center designed to expand capacity for families and strengthen long-term economic development in the region. He also discussed year-round E15, next steps tied to biofuels and sustainable aviation fuel, and ideas to lower health care costs through transparency, prescription pricing reforms, and workforce development for rural hospitals.
