RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak man was arrested Wednesday on a domestic abuse assault charge, according to the Red Oak Police Department.
Officers with the Red Oak Police Department arrested 27-year-old Dixon Briggs of Red Oak on April 8, 2026, in the 200 block of North 3rd Street.
According to the report, Briggs was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault – 1st Offense, a simple misdemeanor.
Following his arrest, Briggs was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held without bond.
The Red Oak Police Department handled the investigation and arrest.
