Students at East Mills Community School District are gaining real-world business experience through a brand-new, student-run apparel venture called Clawmark Clothing.
Led by business teacher and FBLA advisor Sally Stokes, the initiative was created to provide more hands-on, student-driven opportunities within the district. The project also helps address goals identified through the school’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programming
All designs are original and created by students.
From designing products to building the website and handling customer service, students are gaining real-world experience while creating gear for their school and community.
The website is clawmarkclothing.com and will be fully launched this week.
You can also stop by during parent-teacher conferences Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Sally Stokes’ classroom to see products and order in person.
