Griswold Middle/High School Principal Seth Lembke and Teammates Program Coordinator Charity Mundorf stopped by KCSI to share updates on student activities, mentoring opportunities, and upcoming events in the district
Teammates is a school-based mentoring program connecting community mentors with students for about 30–45 minutes once a week on school grounds. Griswold currently has 19 mentors and is working toward a goal of 25.
Teammates is also holding its annual fundraiser with a 50/50 raffle and a two-night cabin stay at Lake Ikaria. Tickets will be available before the Monday night home basketball doubleheader vs. Bedford (6:00 PM), and the drawing will be held at halftime of the boys game. Tickets may also be purchased through the school office.
Also discussed: National School Counselors Week, Griswold’s “Tiger Buddies” program pairing high school groups with elementary classrooms, upcoming parent-teacher conferences (Feb. 23 and Feb. 26), and the student trip to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. (March 15–19)
