Red Oak Police Report OWI Arrest Following Traffic Stop

The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of an Omaha, Nebraska man following an early morning traffic stop Thursday.

According to Red Oak Police Chief Justin Rhamy, officers conducted a traffic stop at approximately 1:40 a.m. Thursday, July 9th, in the west 100 block of Coolbaugh Street in Red Oak.

Officers arrested 53-year-old Kevin White Carey of Omaha, Nebraska, for operating while intoxicated, first offense. The arrest report lists the charge as OWI, first offense, a serious misdemeanor.

Carey was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was being held on $1,000 cash or surety bond at the time the information was released.
