Red Oak man arrested on first-degree burglary charge

RED OAK — A Red Oak man was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a reported fight at Stadium 34.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, officers were called to Stadium 34 at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21. Police said the suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.

Officers later located 39-year-old Adam Milford Souza in the 1800 block of Summit Street. Souza was taken into custody and charged with first-degree burglary, a Class B felony.

Souza was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held without bond until appearing before a magistrate.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and Souza is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
