Red Oak Police report arrest for driving while revoked

RED OAK, Iowa — The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of a Red Oak man following a traffic stop early Saturday morning.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of North Broadway at approximately 2:35 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Officers report the arrest of 31-year-old Daniel John Platt of Red Oak for driving while revoked.

Platt was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $1,000 cash or surety bond at the time of the release of the information.

The Red Oak Police Department was the arresting agency.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
