Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports seven arrests
ATLANTIC, Iowa — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports seven arrests between September 17 and October 1, 2026.
On September 18, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Johnny Lee Kirchner of Wiota on a Cass County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Sex Offender Registry – 1st Offence. Kirchner was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on bond.
On September 19, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Sean Patrick Burke of Omaha, Nebraska, on a charge of OWI – 1st Offense. Burke was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on bond.
On September 23, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Becky June Sulley of Griswold on a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance. Sulley was transported to the Cass County Jail, where she was booked and released on bond.
On September 24, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Kenneth Joseph Wheeler of Council Bluffs on an active warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on an Atlantic Police Department charge of Indecent Contact with a Child. Wheeler was transported to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, where he was booked and held.
Also on September 24, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Lisa Leraine Carlson of Griswold on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance, Interference with Official Acts and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Carlson was transported to the Cass County Jail, where she was booked and released on bond.
On September 27, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Lodou RJ Ichiro of Atlantic on an Atlantic Police Department warrant for Domestic Assault with Intent – 1st. Ichiro was also charged by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office with Violation of No Contact/Protective Order. Ichiro was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.
On September 30, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Shawn Alexander Jensen of Atlantic on a Cass County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Harassment – 3rd Degree. Jensen was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on bond.
All criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
