ATLANTIC, Iowa — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports four arrests between October 1 and October 8, 2026.
On October 2, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Tyler Lee Crawley of Cumberland on a charge of interference with official acts. Crawley was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released with a guilty plea.
Also on October 2, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old James Scott Devoll of Council Bluffs on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Devoll was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.
The sheriff’s office also reports 34-year-old Renson Berdon of Atlantic was arrested October 2 on a charge of public intoxication. Berdon was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released on bond.
On October 4, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Nathan Charles Peterson of Herman, Nebraska, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Peterson was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released with a guilty plea.
All criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
