Chief Nursing Executive Krystalle Fada and program coordinator Ashley Klindt explained that the DAISY Award recognizes exceptional nurses (RNs, LPNs, and advanced practice nurses), while the PETAL Award honors other team members who help make patient care exceptional across the hospital and clinics.
Nominations can be submitted at kiosks throughout the hospital and clinics, using paper forms in patient rooms and discharge materials, or online. Detailed stories are especially helpful during the selection process.
The next PETAL Award ceremony is scheduled for March, and the next DAISY Award ceremony is scheduled for June 2026
