CRESTON, Iowa — A Creston man was arrested Sunday night on a parole violation charge.
According to the Creston Police Department, officers arrested 31-year-old Patrick Riley Iiams at approximately 10:09 p.m. on March 8 at his residence located at 434 Wyoming Street.
Police say Iiams was charged with violation of parole. Following the arrest, he was transported to the Union County Jail.
Authorities report that Iiams is being held on no bond until his initial court appearance.
Officials note that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
