Red Oak, Iowa — A Red Oak man was arrested early Monday morning on a warrant out of Cass County.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested 41-year-old Randon Daniel Phelps of Red Oak on March 10, 2026, at approximately 12:26 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 48.
Authorities say Phelps was wanted on an active Cass County warrant for failure to appear. The original charge connected to the warrant was possession of marijuana, second offense.
Phelps was taken into custody by Montgomery County deputies and then turned over to Cass County deputies. He was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was being held on a $2,000 bond.
