Red Oak, Iowa — A Red Oak woman was arrested Friday evening on a public intoxication charge.
According to a report from the Red Oak Police Department, officers arrested 43-year-old Ronda Jean Allen of Red Oak on March 13, 2026. The arrest occurred at approximately 5:57 p.m. in the 900 block of Oak Street.
Allen was charged with Public Intoxication, a simple misdemeanor under Iowa Code 123.46(2).
Following the arrest, Allen was taken into custody by the Red Oak Police Department and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $300 cash or surety.
Authorities note that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
