A Red Oak man was arrested early Saturday morning on an operating while intoxicated charge

RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak man was arrested early Saturday morning on an operating while intoxicated charge.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, officers arrested 60-year-old Ronald Wayne Perdue at approximately 2:33 a.m. on March 21, 2026, in the 1300 block of N 8th st in Red Oak.

Perdue was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor.

Following the arrest, Perdue was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held on $1,000 bond.

The Red Oak Police Department handled the investigation and arrest.
