A Red Oak man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation by local authorities

RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation by local authorities.

According to a report from the Red Oak Police Department, 44-year-old Jesse Donald Trost of Red Oak was arrested on March 23, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Trost was taken into custody by the Red Oak Police Department and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Court records indicate Trost has been charged with two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree, a Class D felony, and one count of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a Class B felony. These charges stem from an investigation conducted by law enforcement.

He is currently being held on a $25,000 bond at the Montgomery County Jail.

As in all criminal cases, the charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
