The Mills County Sheriff’s Office released its latest arrest report covering March 16 through March 22

GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Mills County Sheriff’s Office released its latest arrest report covering March 16 through March 22, detailing multiple arrests across the county involving charges ranging from domestic abuse to burglary and OWI.

According to the report, one of the most serious incidents occurred March 22 in Malvern. Nicholas James Gragg, 34, of Malvern, was arrested at 3:58 a.m. on East 5th Street and charged with first-degree burglary and assault while participating in a felony. Bond was set at $25,000 for the burglary charge and $5,000 for the assault charge.

Later that same day, Gragg was arrested again at 12:08 p.m. on Main Street in Malvern, this time charged with second-offense domestic abuse assault and first-degree harassment involving threats. No bond amounts were listed for those charges.

Earlier in the reporting period, on March 19 at 2:01 a.m., Blake Ryon Cummings, 34, of Glenwood, was arrested on Garfield Lane in Glenwood on charges of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury or involving strangulation, along with 5 counts of child endangerment. Bond was set at $11,000 for the domestic abuse charge, while several of the child endangerment counts listed no bond.

On March 20 at 9:40 p.m., Geidel Bell Cajigal, 42, of Grand Island, Nebraska, was arrested in Hastings on an out-of-county/state warrant with a $5,000 bond.

Later that evening at 10:57 p.m., Jennifer Rene Kirsch, 52, of Glenwood, was arrested on 195th Street in Pacific Junction and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense. Bond was set at $1,000.

In the early morning hours of March 21, at 12:26 a.m., Gabriel Michael Ruiz, 29, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested on Bunge Avenue in Council Bluffs and cited for speeding 16–20 miles per hour over the limit and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Bonds were set at $300 for each charge.

Also on March 21 at 4:41 a.m., two individuals were arrested during the same incident on Interstate 29 near Pacific Junction. Sye Eugene Chatman, 22, of Kansas City, Missouri, was charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, and being ineligible to carry a weapon, with bonds totaling $2,000.

Zionay Amajeah Marr, 23, of Gladstone, Missouri, was arrested at the same time and location and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, with a $1,000 bond.

On March 22 at 4:34 p.m., Simon Christopher Elias, 49, of Glenwood, was arrested on Sharp Street for violation of probation. Bond was set at $2,000.

Later that evening at 5:56 p.m., Zhamorah Lechelle Johnson, 25, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was arrested on Industrial Road in Glenwood and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense, and two counts of child endangerment. Bond was set at $1,000 for the OWI charge and $2,000 for each child endangerment count.

All arrests were made by the Mills County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities remind the public that all charges are accusations, and individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
