CRESTON — The Creston Police Department released details on multiple arrests occurring between March 27 and March 30, 2026.
On March 27 at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers arrested Juan Carlos Troconiz Atencio, 34, of 900 S. Sumner Room 111, at the intersection of Townline and Cottonwood. He was charged with Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled or Revoked. Atencio was cited and released on a promise to appear.
Later that evening, at around 10:30 p.m., Zeven Michael Lemon, 20, of 219 S. Peterson Street, was arrested at the intersection of Pine and Townline. Lemon was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana 1st Offense. He was cited and released on a promise to appear.
In the early morning hours of March 28 at 12:17 a.m., Michaela Frances Cooney, 43, of 404 N. Pine Street, was arrested at the Creston Law Enforcement Center on an outside agency warrant. The warrant was for probation violation stemming from original charges of Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree – Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine 1st Offense. Cooney was transported to the Union County Jail and later transferred to the Clarke County Jail. She is being held without bond pending an initial appearance.
On March 30 at approximately 1:47 a.m., Adrian Michael Lillie, 18, of 402 S. Elm Street, was arrested at the intersection of Elm Street and Highway 34 on two outside agency warrants. The warrants included charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Lillie was transported to the Union County Jail, where he posted a $1,300 cash or surety bond.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The Creston Police Department handled each of the arrests.
