The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported two arrests on April 9

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Iowa — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported two arrests on April 9.

According to a press release, at approximately 3:14 a.m., deputies arrested 41-year-old Aaron Lucas Allen of Red Oak on an original Montgomery County charge of failure to appear tied to an original charge of violation of a no-contact order. Allen was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was being held without bond.

The sheriff’s office also reported that at approximately 10:05 p.m. April 9, deputies arrested 43-year-old Jan Charles Posten of Villisca on charges of domestic assault impeding air flow, obstruction of emergency communications, and two counts of child endangerment. Posten was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was being held without bond.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was the agency involved in both arrests.
