Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports two arrests

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office released a list of arrests covering Aug. 27, 2026, through Sept. 3, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. The office reported two arrests during that period.

All criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in the court of law.

August 30, 2026

On Aug. 30, 2026, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested Elvin Allen Shrimpon, 62, of Exira, on the charges of OWI – 1st Offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shrimpon was transported to the Cass County Jail, booked, and released on bond.

August 31, 2026

On Aug. 31, 2026, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Gene Clark, 37, of Atlantic, on the charge of OWI – 1st Offense. Clark was transported to the Cass County Jail, booked, and released on bond.
