MCMH Oktoberfest Open: Foundation Golf Tournament
The MCMH Foundation’s biggest annual fundraiser returns this fall with a lively new twist. The 2026 golf tournament has been reimagined as the Oktoberfest Open, blending a classic four-person best-ball scramble with German-themed food, festive attire, and community celebration.
When & Where
• Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026
• Location: Red Oak Country Club
• Format: 18-hole, 4-person best-ball scramble
• Shotgun Start: 12:30 p.m.
The Oktoberfest Twist
Organizers are encouraging participants to lean into the theme. Lederhosen, dirndls, and other festive attire are welcome, and a Best Dressed Contest will recognize standout outfits. German-inspired lunch (including schnitzel and sides) will be served during the tournament, and an Oktoberfest-style dinner featuring brats, pretzels, German potato salad, and more follows the round. Jed’s catering is once again providing the food.
A special highlight this year: a Da Vinci surgical robot will be on site. The Foundation recently wrote a significant check to support equipment tied to the robot, and tournament proceeds will continue to benefit the Surgery Center.

Where the Money Goes
All proceeds from the tournament, dinner, and raffle support the MCMH Foundation and, this year, continue the focus on the Surgery Center and surgical technology. Past Foundation support has already helped bring the Da Vinci robot and related sterile-processing upgrades to Red Oak—tools that expand the range of procedures available locally and help recruit the next generation of surgeons.
