The Mills County Sheriff’s Office has released its arrest press log covering the period from August 10 through August 23, 2026. Ten individuals were taken into custody during that window.

The log begins with Michael Reuban Foster, 33, of Council Bluffs. He was arrested early on August 10 near Hilman Road and U.S. Highway 34 east of Glenwood and charged with driving under suspension. Bond was set at $300.

Three days later, Randall Perry Hughes, 40, of Des Moines, was stopped on U.S. 34 west of Glenwood and charged with driving while barred. His bond was set at $2,000.

On the evening of August 14, Randy Lee Hammers, 58, of Emerson, was arrested in the Hastings area on U.S. Highway 34 and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense. Bond was set at $1,000.

Kinzey Kay Long, 31, of Oakland, was taken into custody on August 16 in Glenwood on a charge of insurance fraud involving false information. Bond was set at $5,000.

The following day, Makayla Rae Smith, 25, of Malvern, was arrested in the Hastings area and charged with driving while her license was denied or revoked related to a prior OWI. Bond was set at $1,000.

On August 18 in Malvern, Logan Neil Petersen, 27, of Omaha, Nebraska, faced two charges: first-offense trespass and interference with official acts involving bodily injury. Bonds were set at zero and $1,000 respectively.

Two arrests occurred early on August 20. Travis Nelson, 41, of Preston, Minnesota, was stopped on Interstate 29 north of Glenwood and charged with possession of a controlled substance (first, second, or third degree) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bonds totaled $1,300. Later that same morning, Dylan Scott Gaines, 30, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was arrested in the Denver area on an out-of-county or out-of-state warrant. No bond amount was listed.

That evening, Rochelle Rose Reyes, 37, of Wathena, Kansas, was arrested on Indian Hills Drive in Glenwood. She faced three charges: administering a harmful substance, dependent adult abuse/exploitation of an elderly person, and wanton neglect of a health care resident. Bonds were set at $7,000, $300, and zero.

The final entry on the log is Douglas James Fox, 58, of Pacific Junction. He was arrested on the evening of August 21 near Hanna Avenue in Pacific Junction and charged with possession of a controlled substance (first, second, or third degree). Bond was set at $5,000.

All arrests were made by the Mills County Sheriff’s Office. A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and every defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
