Mills County Sheriff’s Office Releases Weekly Arrest Report

GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Mills County Sheriff’s Office has released its arrest report for the week of June 1 through June 7, 2026.

According to the report, 13 arrests were recorded during the week.

Damian Lee Mutchler, 25, of Shenandoah, was arrested June 1 on North Vine Street in Glenwood on three counts of child endangerment. Bond was listed at $6,000 on one of the charges.

Ruth Kristine Burns, 61, of Red Oak, was arrested June 1 on Sharp Street in Glenwood for failure to appear. Bond was set at $1,000.

Thomas Jason Riemer, 31, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested June 1 on Interstate 29 north near Pacific Junction for OWI, first offense. Bond was set at $1,000.

Nicholas Adam Baker, 40, of Council Bluffs, was arrested June 3 on Sharp Street in Glenwood for felony failure to appear. No bond amount was listed.

Bragun Michael Michaelsen, 32, of Pacific Junction, was arrested multiple times during the reporting period. On June 3, Michaelsen was arrested on 182nd Street in Council Bluffs on charges of third-degree burglary, first-degree theft over $10,000, and first-degree criminal mischief over $10,000. Bond was listed at $25,000 on the theft charge.

Michaelsen was arrested again June 4 on 195th Street in Pacific Junction on charges of third-degree burglary and first-degree theft over $10,000. Bond was listed at $15,000 on the theft charge. Later that same day, Michaelsen was arrested on 415th Street in Henderson on charges of ongoing criminal conduct, third-degree burglary, and first-degree theft over $10,000. Bond was listed at $40,000 on the ongoing criminal conduct charge.

Patrick Clayton Giesting, 32, of Glenwood, was arrested June 4 on Front Street in Pacific Junction for second-degree theft over $1,500 and under $10,000. Bond was set at $5,000.

Dusty Len Erickson, 45, of Glenwood, was arrested June 6 on 250th Street in Glenwood on charges including second-degree sex abuse involving a victim under the age of 12 and multiple counts of lascivious acts with a child. Bond was listed at $55,000 on the sex abuse charge.

Martaves Deshone Keys, 21, of Des Moines, was arrested June 6 on Jesup Avenue in Pacific Junction for assault causing bodily injury and going armed with intent. Bond was listed at $1,000 on the assault charge and $5,000 on the going armed with intent charge.

Austin Tyler Allison, 21, of Des Moines, was arrested June 6 on Jesup Avenue in Pacific Junction for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and being ineligible to carry a weapon. Bond was listed at $2,000 on the assault charge.

William Joseph Wilcoxson, 69, of Clarinda, was arrested June 7 on 1st Street in Glenwood for third-degree harassment. No bond amount was listed.

Courtney Jo Vcelik, 39, of Lincoln, Iowa, was arrested June 7 on Sharp Street in Glenwood for violation of probation. Bond was set at $5,000.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
