Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Reports Single-Vehicle Accident

RED OAK, Iowa — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies were dispatched on Wednesday, May 20, at approximately 8 p.m. to the 2300 block of 110th Street for a single-vehicle accident.

According to the report, deputies arrived and found a black 2024 Chevrolet Trax on its side in the north ditch.

The driver, Ashlynn Bentley of Red Oak, was traveling westbound on 110th Street when she entered the north ditch and ramped a field drive, causing the vehicle to land on its side.

The Sheriff’s Office reported there were no injuries to the driver or the seven-month-old passenger.

Bentley was cited for failure to maintain control.
