Montgomery County woman arrested after deputies respond to Cubby’s convenience store
RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak woman was arrested late Tuesday night after deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to Cubby’s convenience store.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 11:09 p.m. on March 3, 2026, deputies entered the store and observed two females who were actively attempting to steal. Deputies intervened, and during the investigation arrested 53-year-old Charity Ann Boulton of Red Oak.
Boulton was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was being held on a $1,000 bond.
All criminal charges are merely accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
