Set-off program: delinquent bills and a new fee
Red Oak City Administrator Lisa Kotter said the city has submitted approximately $320,000 in delinquent utility and ambulance-related debts to the Iowa Set-Off Program, which can intercept state tax refunds or certain winnings. She said the city has already collected about $4,400 since submissions began. Council approved a $20 administrative fee related to set-off processing.
