Red Oak man arrested on fifth-degree theft charge

RED OAK — The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of a 39-year-old Red Oak man on a theft charge.

According to the department, officers arrested Corey Drew Blodgett at approximately 5:14 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, in the 600 block of East Joy Street. Blodgett was charged with fifth-degree theft, a simple misdemeanor.

Blodgett was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was being held on $300 bond at the time the information was released.

A charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
