RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak man was arrested early Saturday morning on an outstanding warrant.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, officers arrested 52-year-old Jody Lee Michaelsen at approximately 2:00 a.m. on March 15, 2026, in the 200 block of East Market Street in Red Oak.

Police report Michaelsen was operating a vehicle when officers discovered he had an active warrant out of Montgomery County for Operating While Intoxicated, 2nd Offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Michaelsen was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he was held on a $2,000 bond.
