The Red Oak Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Eastern Avenue.

According to the report, officers responded at approximately 3:50 p.m. Friday, July 3rd, to the 1800 block of Eastern Avenue for a reported accident involving a vehicle and a legally parked vehicle.

Authorities say 42-year-old Jeremiah Allen Foote was driving a black 2008 Ford F-150 northbound on Eastern Avenue when the pickup struck a legally parked 2023 Chrysler Pacifica van. The van was listed as belonging to Father Flanagan Boys Home.

The report indicates one of the vehicles had left the scene before officers arrived, but information was left at the scene. Foote was identified as the driver of the Ford pickup.

The Ford F-150 sustained approximately $1,500 in damage. The parked Chrysler Pacifica sustained approximately $5,000 in damage.

The report does not indicate any injuries or citations issued in connection with the accident.
