RED OAK, Iowa — The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of a Stanton woman following a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
According to the press release, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of 200th Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Upon further investigation, officers arrested 22-year-old Courtney Lynn Jackson of Stanton for possession of a controlled substance, first offense.
Jackson was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $1,000 bond.
The Red Oak Police Department was the arresting agency.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
