Former Red Oak Burger King Building Sold
The former Burger King building on the east side of Red Oak has been sold. According to Ben Lundgren, Executive Director of the Montgomery County Development Corporation, the new owner is a real-estate investor based out of state who purchased the property as an investment opportunity.
The owner is actively working with realtors in the Omaha metro area to find a tenant. Because the building is configured for restaurant use, that remains the preferred direction, though other productive uses are possible.
As of mid-to-late July, the search for a tenant was still underway. Lundgren continues to make outreach on potential concepts that could fit the site.
