The Red Oak PTO is gearing up for two of its biggest annual fundraisers, with the PTO Carnival set for May 8 and the Plant Sale following on May 9.

Carnival Moves Locations Due to Construction
This year’s PTO Carnival will take place at the Red Oak High School due to ongoing construction at Inman Elementary. The event will run from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and will include activities both indoors and outdoors, with food served in the cafeteria.
The carnival typically draws around 400 children and families from the community.
Attendees can purchase:
  • A $10 wristband for unlimited games and activities
  • Individual game tickets for approximately 25 cents each
Food options will include pizza, desserts, and other family-friendly items. A raffle drawing will be held at approximately 7:15 p.m. via Facebook Live.
Organizers say volunteers are always welcome to help run the event.
Plant Sale Set for May 9
The PTO Plant Sale will take place from 8:00 a.m. to noon on May 9 at the Red Oak Early Childhood Center (the former Washington building).
Shoppers can choose from:
  • Pre-arranged flower pots (up to 16-inch containers)
  • Individual annuals like geraniums
  • Plants sourced from Red Oak Greenhouse
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted.
