Red Oak Woman Arrested on Theft Charge

RED OAK, Iowa — The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of 35-year-old Jamie Elizabeth Gentry.

According to police, Gentry was arrested Monday, June 23, at approximately 10 p.m. in the 1200 block of Senate Avenue in Red Oak.

Gentry was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with fifth-degree theft, a simple misdemeanor. She was being held on $300 cash bond.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
