The volleyball team hosts a Class 2A regional first-round match Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. against the winner of Nodaway Valley and Panorama. Doors open at 6:00. Admission is $10. Activity passes are not accepted. Online ticketing or a card at the door is the fastest way in; cash is also accepted. KCSI will broadcast the match.

A win Wednesday puts Red Oak back at home Monday, October 26, at 7:00 p.m. against the winner of St. Albert and Southwest Valley. The regional final is Wednesday, October 28, at a neutral site, again at 7:00 p.m.

Cross country state qualifying is Thursday at Treynor. Girls run at 4:00 p.m.; boys follow at 4:40. The top three teams advance to state. Individuals can still qualify by finishing in the top 15 if their team does not. Scoring works like golf: the lower the total of a team’s top five places, the better.
