Stanton Community School District has a busy stretch of school activities, student recognitions, music events, athletics, and FFA happenings as the school year winds down
- FFA Plant Sale: Friday, May 8, at the elementary concourse.
- Plant sale hours: 7:15–about 8:00 a.m. and 3:40–5:15 p.m.
- Plants available: Hanging baskets, dahlias, coleuses, patio tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, jalapenos, and habaneros.
- Prices: Hanging baskets $15; dahlias $5; coleuses $5; tomatoes and peppers $4.
- FFA Awards Banquet: Monday, May 18, meal at 6:00 p.m., program at 7:00 p.m., high school gym.
- FFA membership: Stanton FFA has 96 members between middle school and high school.
- School openings: Activities director, bus driver, head basketball coach, cheer sponsor.
- TeamMates: Stanton is seeking additional mentors
- Leilani Foster: Broke the school high jump record for the third time this year, clearing 5’4”.
- Awards Day: Tuesday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m.
- Large Group Choir Contest: Friday, May 8, at Atlantic.
- Bethesda Recorder Ensemble: Wednesday, May 13, at 9:30 a.m.
- Elementary Ag Day: Wednesday, May 13, during the school day.
- Eighth Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m.
- High School Graduation: May 23.
