Essex and Red Oak Fire Departments were dispatched to the 1300 block of K Ave (rural Essex) on a reported grass/field fire near a residence

On Thursday (5/7) at 3:41 p.m. the Essex and Red Oak Fire Departments were dispatched to the 1300 block of K Ave (rural Essex) on a reported grass/field fire near a residence.

Both agencies were able to quickly suppress the fire prior to it reaching any structures.

No injuries reported.
