Stanton Community School District shared a full update with KCSI, including reminders and upcoming events.
Midterm grade check for middle/high school is Friday, February 6. Families can monitor grades in JMC, and the school office can help if you need access.
January is National Mentoring Month. TeamMates of Stanton will host a popcorn fundraiser (Almost Famous Popcorn) at home basketball games later this month to support mentoring activities. They are also looking for additional mentors. Apply at teammates.org or call the Stanton school and ask for Ashley McDonald or Katie Elwood.
Stanton Pink Out is Monday, January 27:
4:00 PM JH girls vs Sidney
5:00 PM spaghetti meal (freewill donation)
6:00 PM varsity girls and boys
Chuck-a-Duck ($2) and a spare change challenge are planned.
Pink Out t-shirts are $15 (limited quantity). Order by emailing lburton@stantonschools.com.
Stanton FFA 15th Annual Toy Show is Saturday, January 31 (9:00 AM–2:00 PM) at the White 4-H Exhibit Building in Red Oak. Admission is $5 and 10 and under are free.
