The Creston Police Department reports three arrests occurring on March 24, 2026

CRESTON, Iowa — The Creston Police Department reports three arrests occurring on March 24, 2026, at separate locations throughout the city.

According to the report, the first arrest took place at 4:38 p.m. in the 300 block of South Walnut Street. Brennen Meyer Weiland, 27, of Emmetsburg, Iowa, was taken into custody and charged with violation of parole and interference with official acts. Weiland was transported to the Union County Jail, where bond was set at $20,000 cash only and an additional $300 cash surety.

Later that evening, at 5:48 p.m., officers arrested Emily Rae Marie Dohrn, 23, of Creston, at 508 South Birch Street. Dohrn was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and eluding. She was taken to the Union County Jail, and a $5,300 cash or surety bond was posted.

The third arrest occurred at 10:01 p.m. when officers arrested Travis Quinn Wambold, 49, at his residence at 402 South Maple Street. Wambold was charged with three counts of violation of probation. He was transported to the Union County Jail and is being held without bond until his next appearance in district court.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
