RED OAK, Iowa — The Red Oak Police Department reports the arrest of a Red Oak man on an active warrant for grooming.

According to Red Oak Police Chief Justin Rhamy, officers arrested 38-year-old Lucas James Bogart at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in the 500 block of East Prospect Street in Red Oak.

Bogart was arrested on an active Red Oak Police Department warrant for grooming.

Bogart was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held on $5,000 cash-only bond at the time the information was released.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
