The Southwest Valley School Board has selected Mr. Tim Hood as their next Superintendent of
Schools. The SWV Community School District Board of Directors are proud to welcome Tim
Hood as the district’s interim Superintendent. Mr. Hood will provide steady leadership and
support for students, staff and families while the district continues planning for long-term
administrative leadership.

Board President Statements:
Corning Board President, Staci Venteicher, stated, “I believe Mr. Hood is an excellent fit for
Southwest Valley‘s current needs. Throughout the process, he demonstrated a strong
understanding of what matters most in our district, keeping students in the center, supporting
teachers and staff, communicating clearly, and partnering with our families and community. His
approach aligns with our district’s needs in the values we heard from our community”.
Villisca Board President, Jason Poston commented “The Board Members, found Mr. Hood’s
