Mills County Sheriff’s Office Reports Eight Arrests for May 11–17
GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reported eight arrests during the week of May 11 through May 17, 2026. The arrests involved charges including theft, attempted murder, failure to appear, harassment of a public official, driving under suspension, and violation of a no-contact/protective order.
According to the Mills County Sheriff’s Office arrest press log, Shawn Edmund Tesori, 31, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Monday, May 11, at 2:28 a.m. on 188th Street in Pacific Junction. Tesori was charged with third-degree theft, fifth-degree criminal mischief, and escape from custody-misdemeanor. Bond amounts listed were $2,000 for the theft charge and $1,000 for the escape charge.
Helen Elaine Tuper, 46, of Red Oak, was arrested Monday, May 11, at 1:42 p.m. on Sharp Street in Glenwood. Tuper was charged with failure to appear. Bond was listed at $1,000.
Aaron Ray McDaniel, 34, of Pacific Junction, was arrested Tuesday, May 12, at 4:57 p.m. on Glover Road in Pacific Junction. McDaniel was charged with attempted murder, assault while participating in a felony with no injury, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon. Bond on the attempted murder charge was listed at $110,000.
Adrian Charles Bauer, 48, of Emerson, was arrested Thursday, May 14, at 1:08 a.m. on Manchester Street in Emerson. Bauer was charged with harassment of a public official or employee. Bond was listed at $300.
Donald Paul Kadereit II, 44, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Friday, May 15, at 5:02 p.m. on South 6th Street in Council Bluffs. Kadereit was arrested on an out-of-county/state warrant. Bond was listed at $500.
Patrick Clayton Giesting, 32, of Malvern, was arrested Saturday, May 16, at 1:42 a.m. on Interstate 29 north in Pacific Junction. Giesting was charged with driving under suspension. Bond was listed at $300.
Suzanne Kay Labastida, 46, of Pacific Junction, was arrested Saturday, May 16, at 4:51 p.m. on Sharp Street in Glenwood. Labastida was charged with failure to appear. Bond was listed at $5,000.
Christopher Joseph Brown, 46, of Pacific Junction, was arrested Sunday, May 17, at 2:51 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue in Pacific Junction. Brown was charged with violation of a no-contact/protective order.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office was listed as the arresting agency in each case.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
