  • Last day of school: Thursday, May 28
    • Elementary dismissal: 10:50 a.m.
    • High school dismissal: 11:00 a.m.
  • Construction updates:
    • Work expected to begin after school ends
    • HVAC work planned for elementary area and gym
    • Old high school office to become two classrooms and a larger meeting room
    • Elementary area to include a new classroom and updated entry/main office area
    • Project listed for February completion, with classes expected to continue during finishing work
  • Job openings:
    • Junior high/high school football and basketball cheer sponsor
    • Bus route driver
    • Applications available through Iowa SchoolSpring
  • Teammates Mentoring Program:
    • Looking for more mentors
    • Yearbooks:
      • Last chance to purchase
      • Delivery expected in mid-July
  • Peach sales fundraiser:

    • Girls distance medley relay
    • Girls shuttle hurdle relay
    • Relay athletes mentioned: Quinn McDonald, Leilani Foster Say, Lauren Roberts, Piper French
  • Junior high Corner Conference track:
    • Girls placed third
    • Boys placed fourth
    • Multiple individual and relay champions recognized
  • Iowa Youth in Government Conference:
    • Logan Hoff and Brayden Honeyman represented Stanton on May 16
    • Their bill proposal passed
    • Brayden received the Outstanding Statesperson Award
  • Upcoming athletics:
    • State track ongoing
    • Graduation scheduled for Saturday
    • Baseball and softball begin next week
  • Summer strength and conditioning:
    • Sessions begin June 1
    • Junior high/high school boys: 6:25–7:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday
    • Junior high/high school girls: 7:30–8:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, Friday
