City Administrator Lisa Kotter said the city’s fireworks show is scheduled for July 4, which falls on a Saturday this year. She said the city previously approved additional funding for the display in recognition of the nation’s 250th birthday anniversary.
The fireworks are purchased through J&M Fireworks Display. Kotter also recognized Chris Dovel, who helps organize the fireworks crew each year.
Kotter encouraged residents to attend the July 4 show and said the city hopes the added investment will make the celebration even more special for the community.
