Glenwood Police Department reports four OWI arrests

GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Glenwood Police Department reported four operating-while-intoxicated arrests between September 4 and September 13, according to the department’s latest arrest press log.

On Friday, September 4, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Glenwood Police arrested 22-year-old Erik Matthew Magnussen of Glenwood in the area of Coolidge Street and South Vine Street. Magnussen was charged with OWI, second offense. His bond was listed at $2,000.

On Wednesday, September 9, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers arrested 46-year-old Jerry Dean Alm of Glenwood. Alm was charged with OWI, first offense. His bond was listed at $1,000. The arrest log lists North Vine Street as part of the location of the arrest.

On Friday, September 11, at approximately 7:07 p.m., Glenwood Police arrested 38-year-old Brandon David Marr of Omaha, Nebraska, in the area of South Locust Street. Marr was charged with OWI, first offense. His bond was listed at $1,000.

On Sunday, September 13, at approximately 4:12 a.m., officers arrested 19-year-old Kelley Samuel Lee Barrett Jr. of Glenwood near Fairview Drive and North Linn Street. Barrett was charged with OWI, first offense. His bond was listed at $1,000.

The Glenwood Police Department noted that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and that defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
